Q. I am concerned about my child not being ready to attend all day kindergarten, can you help?
A. Yes. We encourage children to develop self help and problem solving skills. We also provide age appropriate play to all children which promotes their cognitive, emotional, social and physical development providing a easy transition into kindergarten.
Q. How Often are the toys in the daycare cleaned?
A. We are always cleaning and changing out the toys. I take pride in the cleanliness of my daycare.
Q. How do I enrol and reserve a space for my child at Koala Bear Daycare?
A. You can call to determine if there is availability. We can schedule a time for you and your child to visit us. During your visit you will learn more about our program which will help you to decide if you are comfortable with the caregivers, environment and the expectations. If you want to enrol then you would complete the registration forms and leave a deposit to reserve your spot. If we don’t have openings at the time, you can go on a waiting list. We always have openings in July, August and September as many of our children graduate and move on to kindergarten. People usually contact me in April or early May to register for the summer or September.

A. 2.5 Years. We offer care for children from 2.5 years old to five years old.

A. I am an Early Childhood Educator, and my daycare has been open since December 1990. My daycare is also fully licensed and meets all the requirements of the Childcare Licensing Regulations.
Q. What is the biggest benefit at Koala Bear Daycare?
A. I feel the biggest benefit is preparing your child to enter kindergarten. Also variety and Attention. For parents that work and need daycare your child automatically receives a preschool program in my centre at no extra cost. We have a small caregiver to child ratio allowing us to give your child lots of indivdual attention. We also change our toys and appearance of the daycare to keep the children in constant discovery and provide new learning opportunities.
