With so many great things to do at our daycare, I wanted to share some fun activities and ideas for parents and their children to do at home together.

Playing with blocks, Lego and any building toys allows children to create something out of their imaginations.

Construction toys help children develop:

• motor skills and hand-eye coordination
• spatial skills
• a capacity for creative, divergent thinking
• social skills
• language skills
